Introducing the Jotwire facility expansion
We are excited to announce that Jotwire’s expanded facilities were fully operational by early 2024. The original factory, completed in 2019, was expanded to accommodate our growing space requirements. The primary goal was to ensure smooth operations and support Jotwire’s continued growth. With this expansion, we have successfully relocated the remaining production processes from Tuupovaara to Lehmo.
The expansion added a total of 2,600 square meters, accompanied by significant investments in production technology. These investments include automation for wire processing, selective soldering, increased SMT capacity, and warehouse automation. Most recently, we installed an automated lacquer coating line in the new electronics area. Our manufacturing documentation is now fully digital, representing a key step forward in the digitalization of our production processes.
Our staff also benefits from new social spaces and an additional break room. The expanded facility includes many custom-made fixtures designed for long wiring harnesses. Additionally, our test design and construction departments now have larger and improved workspaces.
